These recipes are inspired by the season, my garden and the Davis Farmers Market. I use them for serving to my family, for entertaining, as well as for stocking my pantry. I love to draw when plants are freshly harvested, and in different forms, from flower to fruit to seed. As in people, all ages of a plant are important, useful and beautiful — and all are used in cooking. Some of these recipes go with particular plants I have drawn. I hope you enjoy the recipes.
